Gratitude helps us to return to our natural state of joyfulness, where we notice what's right instead of what's wrong. It makes us feel complete, that we have everything we need, at least in that moment.
This is not to say that an Attitude of Gratitude is necessarily easy to practice. All kinds of distractions and negative attitudes, many of them learned early in our lives, may get in the way. And it's definitely a lot easy to appreciate and notice life's blessings when all is going well. Yet it is in those times when we may be feeling a bit sad or overwhelmed, that it is all the more important to acknowledge and appreciate all that we do have. This small shift in attitude really does unlock the magic of gratitude and Universal abundance.
